Application:
ZNW series 2-stage pulp washer is a state of art facility for paper stock thickening. It combines gravity-filter and vacuum thickener in one unit.  The pulp washer can help in thickening the paper stock at the consistency of 0.55% to 8% and the best result can be achieved in removing ink particles sized 1~100 micra.
Design Features:
ZNW series 2-stage pulp washer consists of cylinder wire thickener, vacuum drum thickener and intermediate tank. The cylinder wire
thickener consists of cylinder mould, pulp inlet trough, vat, frame, spray pipe and driving device, etc. The vacuum drum thicker consists of vacuum cylinder mould, vat, press roll and pressure device, frame, spray pipe and driving device, etc. The pulp at the consistency of 0.55% enters the one-stage wire vat from the inlet trough and then is absorbed on the surface of wire mould when flowing along the rotating direction of wire mould at low speed. Stock water is draining as effect of difference level between inside and outside of cylinder. The level difference can be adjusted for yielding required stock consistency. The pre-thickened pulp flows into the vat of the vacuum drum thickener via the intermediate tank, where the pre-thickened stock is filtering under vacuum generated by drop leg. As effect of vacuum, fiber mat on wire is getting thicker and thicker, consistency is gradually increasing. As continued, the filtered stock is pressed on drum by press roll and finally dropped into the tank. The filtrate by vacuum is discharged directly from vacuum drum.Thanks to combination of gravity dewatering by cylinder wire and vacuum dewatering, dewatering intensity is gradually increased, the ink particles sized 1~100micra are effectively filtered by fully utilization of the hydrophobicity difference between the ink particles and fiber.Simple structure, easy, safe and reliable in operation.
