Application

  ZSL Horizontal MD Pressurized Screen is used for screening secondary fiber and other stock with the consistency of 1.5~3%. In particular, using the closed rotor, the screening result is better for the stock with high content of impurities.

Design features

  ZSL Horizontal MD Pressurized Screen consists of closed rotor, screen basket, screen housing and drive. It is divided into two types, interior-flow and exterior-flow, in terms of the direction of stock inlet and outlet.

  For the interior-flow screen, the stock enters the screen basket from the upper inlet of screen housing at drive side. With the rotation of the closed rotor, the impurities are separated by the holes or slots of screen basket, i.e., accepts pass through the screen basket under the stock pressure, and flow out from the outlet of screen housing at cover side. The closed rotor rotates at accepts outlet. Rejects settle down along the inter wall of the screen housing with the centrifugal effect, and discharge from the bottom rejects outlet. The discharging amount of rejects is about 10~20%.

  For the exterior-flow screen, the stock fllows outwards from the inner of the screen basket, and the reject ratio is about 20~40%.

Regarding of the closed rotor, it needs to avoid the overload of equipment or the damage of screen plate by the string-like impurities winding on the rotor

  High circumference speed of the rotor, not only forming intensive agitation and instant negative-pressure, but also speeding up the stock flow. With the increasing of the angle between the speed of rotor and accepts passing through the screening hole, the screening results has been improved.

  With the middle-density screening, the process equipment is simplified, the procedure is rationalized, and the investment is reduced. The water consumption and the space requirement of middle-density screening are less than those of ordinary screen.
