Application

The ZDX 1 type rosin size saponifying cooker is an auxiliary equipment of the paper industry. It can be used to saponify and emulsify rosin size for paper mill for sized paper.

Structure feature

The rosin size cooker mainly consists of the cooker body, discharge valve with operating mechanism, drive unit, agitating shaft. The ZDX1 type rosin size saponifying cooker is class 1 low-pressure jacket type heat exchanger. There is a jacket in the cooker body. The rosin can be saponified by steam heating in the jacket. There is an agitating unit in the rosin size cooker also. The agitating blade is of propeller-type. Agitating can speed up saponification.

 Discharge valve is manual valve. Its operating mode is simple and easy as well convenient.

 There are normally two emulsifying processes. One is by manual, and the other is by jet. The emulsifying process of the ZDX1 type rosin size saponifying cooker is jet emulsifying. It can produce the white rosin size with free-rosin.

 Firstly alkali and water is calculated according to the requirement for rosin size, the rosin size is saponified by heating in the rosin size cooker and finally filtered by a rosin filter and emulsified by the jet emulsor to get rosin size emulsion with proper proportional free rosin. The ZDX1 type rosin size saponifying cooker can saponify 150~200kg rosin size in the batch.
