Application:

ZTH series medium consistency mixer (paper machine)is a new type mixing equipment to mix uniformly the stock at consistencies of 8~14% with bleaching liquor or gases (O2, steam). It also can be used for mixing the stock at consistencies of 3~5% with other materials. It is suitable for mixing of stock, liquid, gas of all stock bleaching processes in pulping and papermaking industry.

Structure feature:

ZTH series medium consistency mixer consists of mixer body, rotor, fixing screw, double-ended mechanical seal, main shaft assembly, drive unit etc.

The stock at medium consistencies of 8~14% together with gas bleaching agent, liquid bleaching agent are fed to medium consistency mixer at pressure. They pass through space between high-speed rotor and stationary mixer body. The fiber floc of the stock subjected to intense shearing action is destroyed and so the medium consistency stock is fluidized and flowed as water or low consistency stock do. At the same time, the high-speed rotor produces partial hydraulic pulse action which intensively defiberizes the stock. As stock is well defiberized and fluidized, the fiber can be moving so freely that the bleaching agent is easily adhered to the each fiber and so increase contact reaction and fulfill uniform mixing of stock with gas.
